Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Quantitative Strategist to support Gas & Power trading, origination, structuring, and portfolio management. You will work with traders, risk professionals, and tech teams to build valuation models and forecasting tools across NA and global markets.

The role blends quantitative analytics with commercial insight to identify opportunities, evaluate risk, and provide decision support for a broad range of transactions.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field with strong mathematical background.
• Experience building quantitative models in trading or energy markets.
• Proven ability to translate analytics into commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve quantitative models for gas and power trading and risk management.
• Create analytical frameworks evaluating market fundamentals and cross-commodity interactions.
• Support valuation, structuring, and pricing of complex transactions.
• Build forecasting, optimization, and simulation tools for decision support.
• Perform scenario analyses and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with traders, origination, and technology teams on production-ready solutions.
