Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience full-time in gas, electric, steam or data analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 3 years' experience in data analysis.
• General working knowledge of GIS or mapping systems, required.
• Experience in statistical data trending and/or data analysis, required.
• Experience creating PowerBI dashboards, required.
• Familiarity with database structures, preferred.
• Experience with SQL, preferred.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and implement Gas Engineering's Integrity Management programs.
• Prepare and improve routine data reporting mechanisms for all four operating areas.
• Support data access for custom and ad-hoc reporting and analyze gas system performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback to data owners and Data Governance Office.
• Own metadata management and ensure data catalog, glossary, and quality rules are updated.
• Prepare engineering analyses and present to all levels of the organization.
• Utilize prioritization software and datasets to improve gas system performance.
• Perform engineering analysis for operating areas to interpret statistical information.
• Interpret system risk using the DIMP Risk Model.
• Collect and prepare information for submittals to PSC, NYC OEM, FDNY, etc.
