National Grid is seeking a Senior Technical Inspector for our Gas Work Methods and Standards department with roles in the Waltham, MA or Worcester, MA locations and routine field travel. The position focuses on technical inspection, testing, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years of field experience in Gas Construction.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline (or a related technical discipline), is desired.
• Minimum of 5 years field experience preferred in Gas Construction.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field operations work site inspections, including Maintenance and Construction field personnel inspections, and process audits and record reviews in order to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Collect, sort, and analyze inspection and audit data in order to identify deficiencies and overall patterns which may impact the quality and safety of operations, and provide recommendations to improve them.
• Maintain and document all results in relevant databases.
• Report findings and coordinate material disposition.
