SabCon Underground seeks a Gas Tech III to support the construction, maintenance, replacement, and repair of natural gas distribution infrastructure. This operator-qualified role involves fusion equipment and pipefitting, with travel to SabCon clients' sites as needed.

The position requires 3–5+ years in gas/pipeline work, a high school diploma or GED, and OQ/NACE/API-1169 certifications. CDL is preferred, with ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5+ years in gas or pipeline construction, maintenance, or operations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications: OQ, NACE, API 1169.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL strongly preferred.
• Willing to travel long distances, work extended hours, and lift over 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Lead construction, maintenance, and repair projects with minimal supervision from Foreman.
• Assist Foreman with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and schedules.
• Mentor junior/mid-level technicians and coordinate on-site activities.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform pipefitting and connections for polyethylene piping and test for leaks.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on diverse job sites.
