Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Gas Designer. In this role, you will execute detailed gas distribution design work and support the establishment of gas distribution capabilities. The position is based in Wisconsin, with remote-friendly options, ideal for candidates able to relocate within the Wisconsin Public Service territory.

Preferred candidates will have significant experience in utility design and strong communication skills, contributing to various utility projects while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of proven experience in gas distribution design within a utility or consulting environment.
• Ability to independently execute design work and manage complex assignments with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated experience preparing construction-ready plans and technical design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform gas distribution design, including preparation of plans, layouts, and supporting documentation for utility projects.
• Execute design work consistently and efficiently to meet client timelines and delivery expectations.
• Apply knowledge of utility standards, codes, and client-specific requirements to produce accurate, construction-ready designs.
