BlockReel in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Gaffer for an independent sci-fi web series. Prep day in late October 2026, with about 10–12 shoot days over ~3 weeks. You will translate the director's vision into compelling lighting, lead the lighting crew, manage gear, and collaborate with the DP.

The role requires owning a basic G&E package and coordinating rentals for specialized gear. A strong reel from indie projects or web series is essential; compensation ranges from $150–$300 per day.
