Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a results-driven fundraising event manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of a $400,000+ event portfolio. You will drive revenue through donor, sponsor, and volunteer leadership engagement while delivering high-quality experiences, building relationships, and growing the donor pipeline for long-term impact.

Responsibilities include planning event logistics and budgets, coordinating vendors, and aligning participants with broader engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of successful fundraising and relationship development.
• Strong project management and event execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of community and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue goals and grow engagement.
• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact.
• Monitors performance against goals, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue and return on investment.
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
