Allegiance Group is seeking a Senior Copywriter to craft performance-driven fundraising copy across direct mail, email, digital, and social channels for nonprofit clients. You’ll collaborate with art directors, strategists, and cross-functional teams to shape campaign messaging and ensure high-quality creative.

The role emphasizes storytelling, donor engagement, and adherence to brand voice, with opportunities to influence campaign strategy and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in direct response copywriting, preferably in an agency setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute compelling copy across direct mail, email, digital, social, and web channels.
• Translate creative briefs into clear, persuasive messaging aligned with client fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with art directors and designers to develop integrated campaign concepts and cohesive creative solutions.
• Apply direct response best practices to create content that drives donor engagement and conversion.
• Conduct research and gather insights to inform messaging and target audience.
• Present creative concepts and rationale clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Revise and refine copy based on feedback while maintaining strategic integrity and creative quality.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, client objectives, and campaign strategy.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Stay current on creative trends, digital platforms, and fundraising strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Contribute to a collaborative creative environment and support continuous improvement of creative output.
