Allegiance Group is seeking a Senior Copywriter to craft performance-driven fundraising copy across direct mail, email, digital, and social channels for nonprofit clients. You will translate briefs into compelling messaging, shape campaign concepts, and partner with art directors and strategists to ensure high-quality creative.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in direct response copywriting, preferably in an agency setting, with nonprofit fundraising experience and excellent storytelling,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in direct response copywriting, preferably in an agency environment.
• Preferred nonprofit or direct response fundraising campaigns experience.
• Experience across direct mail, email, digital, and social channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute copy across direct mail, email, digital, social, and web channels.
• Translate briefs into clear, persuasive messaging aligned with fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with art directors and designers to develop integrated campaign concepts.
• Apply direct response best practices to drive donor engagement and conversions.
• Conduct research to inform messaging and target audience.
• Present concepts and rationale clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Revise copy based on feedback while maintaining strategic integrity.
• Ensure content aligns with brand voice, objectives, and strategy.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Stay current on creative trends, platforms, and fundraising strategies.
• Contribute to a collaborative creative environment and continuous improvement.
