Job summary

Friends of the Earth U.S. is seeking an Executive Advisor, Strategic Partnerships, to drive major philanthropic investments and lead high-potential funder relationships from a remote location.

The role reports to the VP Membership & Development and collaborates across leadership and program teams to secure transformational funding. The position targets a $1.7M annual fundraising goal with an emphasis on foundation relations, proposal development, and strategic funder engagement.

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years in institutional fundraising or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record securing high six- or seven-figure philanthropic investments.
• Experience managing complex funder portfolios and meeting ambitious goals.
• Ability to develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of foundations and institutional funders with high revenue potential.
• Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and partnership strategies.
• Lead fundraising engagements with organizational leadership to maximize funding opportunities.
• Achieve annual fundraising and portfolio growth through various solicitation strategies.
