Job summary

Korn Ferry Group seeks a Fund Operations Specialist/Associate Manager with a Commercial Real Estate focus in a hybrid role based in Austin, TX. The candidate will coordinate complex operational processes across portfolios and support new transactions, liaising with portfolio management, legal, accounting, tax, and third-party providers.

Responsibilities include closing support, drawdowns, servicing activity, reconciliations, and due diligence for marketing CRE investments; a strong Excel, SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of fund operations experience in financial services or alternative investments.
• 1–2 years of commercial real estate experience preferred.
• Direct experience with CRE transactions including closings, drawdowns, servicing activity, holdbacks, construction loans, or related operations.
• Experience coordinating with portfolio managers, trustees, servicers, settlement providers, compliance teams and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret transaction documentation and indenture requirements.
• Experience using SQL or other database query tools and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Support daily fund operations activities for CRE investments.
• Coordinate with servicers on drawdowns, loan activity, holdbacks, construction loans, and related requirements.
• Assist with new deal closings and setups, including wire processing and coordination with title companies.
• Serve as liaison among portfolio managers, operations, legal, accounting, tax, and compliance teams.
• Oversee daily asset, position, and cash reconciliations and reviews of trustee reporting.
• Support due diligence meetings and preparation for marketing CRE investment products.
