Job summary

Petra Funds Group seeks a detail‑oriented accounting professional to manage books for Management Company clients. You will handle revenues, expenses, payables, and bank reconciliations, delivering timely financial statements and working closely with fund administrators.

The role involves supporting audits, client meetings, and ongoing collaboration with a high‑performing team. Hybrid work and strong growth potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting systems; Sage Intacct a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Desire to support external clients and work on multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple clients with all aspects of Management Company Accounting.
• Calculate and record Revenues and Expenses as appropriate.
• Ensure proper allocations and process client payables for third party vendors.
• Record inbound and outbound cash transactions and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare client financial statements and supporting workbooks at various levels.
• Actively partner with Fund Administration teams and maintain records and reporting.
• Prepare Portfolio Company invoices for reimbursement.
• Support annual audit & 1099 processes for clients.
• Prepare closing calendars and client meeting agendas.
