Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a highly technical Fund Controller to lead the accounting for private investment funds in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment. You will interact with senior leadership and participate in new fund launches, overseeing NAVs, P&L reconciliations, and complex fund structures.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of private fund accounting, CPA preferred, and a strong background in U.S. GAAP and fund reporting.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of private fund accounting experience.
• Experience with private fund structures and fund administration.
• Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple private investment funds and related entities.
• Review fund NAV calculations, P/L reconciliations, allocations, and investor capital activity.
• Oversee management fees, incentive fees, carried interest, and other fund-level calculations.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and capital account reporting.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and third‑party fund administrators.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and develop reporting infrastructure.
• Participate in new fund launches and strategic initiatives.
