Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Senior Principal, Fund Assurance to oversee audits across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products, strengthening controls and governance. You will lead data-driven risk detection and collaborate with auditors, TPAs, and internal partners to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong accounting expertise, experience with NAV, disclosures, and regulatory filings, and the ability to drive scalable assurance solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive fund accounting, fund oversight, assurance, or equivalent experience.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior assurance lead and technical escalation point for complex fund accounting matters across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products.
• Apply independent judgment to assess accounting, operational, and control issues per GAAP and regulatory guidance.
• Ensure execution of SQP tools: Issue log, open items, KPIs and Sentiment indexes for TPAs.
• Advise on accounting, operational, and control considerations related to derivatives, structured instruments, and non‑standard pricing inputs.
• Drive automation, data analytics, and improved fund accounting reporting to support risk‑based assurance.
