Job summary

Sixth Street in Dallas is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Analyst to support private equity and credit funds across the full lifecycle—from fundraising to liquidation. You will manage fund-level accounting during quarterly closings and oversee the external Fund Administrator and offshore team.

You will work with Investor Services, Tax, and Legal to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, accurate cash management, and scalable automation initiatives that reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in private equity, fund administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting rules and GAAP reporting for funds.
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting during quarterly closings and reconcile expenses.
• Prepare wires for investment activities and fee payments.
• Assist with waterfall and management fee calculations.
• Monitor liquidity, credit facility borrowings, and capital events.

Job Description:About the RoleSixth Street is hiring a Fund Accounting Senior Analyst to support fund operations in Dallas, Texas.
