Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or assurance for Financial Services clients (hedge funds, private equity, etc.)
• Experience with real estate funds is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward a team handling client relationships
• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheet, statements of investments, operations, cash flows, and notes to FS
• Prepare general ledger and work papers for capital, investment activity, income, and expense accruals
• Prepare Partner Capital reports and Partner P&L
• Calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees, and capital allocations
• Prepare capital call and distribution notices, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices
• Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts
• Calculate quarter-end NAVs
• Support year-end audit with team, client, and auditors
• Train and mentor junior staff
