Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Senior Portfolio Accountant to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) in California. You will contribute to financial reporting, assist in preparing statements, and support NAV calculations and investor notices while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3+ years of fund accounting experience with Financial Services clients (hedge funds, private equity, or similar).
• CPA or parts completed preferred.
• Experience with Yardi or MRI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute toward a team covering one or more client relationships
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Investments, Statement of Operations, Statement of Cash Flows, and Notes to Financial Statements
• Prepare general ledger and work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals
• Prepare Partner Capital reports including Partner P&L
• Prepare and calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees and capital allocations
• Calculate capital call and distribution notices, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices
• Reconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts
• Calculate quarter end final and estimated NAVs
• Support the year-end audit process, in collaboration with the team, client, and auditors
• Train and mentor junior staff
