Job summary

Dynamo Software is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accounting Specialist within the Outsourcing Practice to support private equity clients with accounting and reporting services.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, closing quarterly books, preparing investor reports, and coordinating audits and tax filings. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Experience in private equity or partnership investment accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cash activity and ensure accurate, timely accounting entries.
• Assist with quarterly close, NAV statements, and client reports.
• Publish preliminary reports and distribute final versions to clients.
• Assist with capital calls and distributions processing.
• Manage client investor portals and respond to investor requests.
• Coordinate work papers for audits and partnership tax returns; prepare K-1s.
• Assist with ad hoc research and analysis.
