Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a leading NYC asset management firm to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its finance team. You will oversee a portfolio of funds and collaborate with an outsourced fund administrator to ensure accurate reporting and smooth fund operations.

Key responsibilities include preparing fund valuation reports, analyzing activity, supporting capital calls and distributions, and assisting with annual audits, with strong opportunities for leadership as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of fund accounting experience.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for a portfolio of investment funds.
• Review and oversee work prepared by third-party fund administrators for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review fund valuation reports and analyze fund activity.
• Support capital calls and distributions for investors.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and the annual audit.
• Monitor fund activity and performance with proper documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure accurate fund operations.
