Job summary

Beacon Hill in New York is seeking a CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting and/or alternative investment fund accounting to oversee fund accounting activities for complex private fund structures, including NAV reporting, capital activity, and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting and/or alternative investment fund accounting.
• Experience with private credit, direct lending, private equity, hedge funds, BDCs or similar alternative investment vehicles.
• Experience either through a Big 4 financial services audit practice or a combination of public accounting and fund accounting.

This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting and/or alternative investment fund accounting who is looking to transition to the asset management side of the business. The role focuses on overseeing fund accounting activities for complex private fund structures, including NAV reporting, capital activity, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, performance reporting, and partnership accounting. Candidates should have experience working with private credit, direct lending, private equity, hedge funds, BDCs, or similar alternative investment vehicles, either through a Big 4 financial services audit practice or a combination of public accounting and fund accounting experience. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, along with the opportunity to help drive process improvements, strategic initiatives, and the continued growth of a sophisticated alternatives platform. This is a highly collaborative, in-office role based in New York.
