Job summary

Mission Staffing is recruiting for a role with a premier global alternative asset manager in New York. The candidate will support the month-end close, NAV packages, fund waterfalls, and performance calculations, coordinating with finance and operations.

The position requires 2+ years in Big 4 or fund accounting, CPA or parts passed, and a hybrid schedule with three days in the NYC office. Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Big 4 or fund accounting experience.
• CPA or parts passed.
• Hybrid schedule - 3 days/week in the NYC office.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including NAV packages, fund-level waterfalls, and performance calculations
• Contribute to quarterly/annual reporting used in 10-Q/10-K filings, including draft review
• Assist with year-end financial statements, audit facilitation, and tax prep support
• Analyze P&L and fund performance for investors monthly/quarterly
• Calculate management and incentive fees across hedge and private equity fund structures
• Prepare expense allocations and cash liquidity budgeting across multiple fund entities
• Maintain the fund general ledger and prepare partner capital activity/distribution notices
• Coordinate with Corporate, Operations, Marketing, Tax, Legal, and front-office teams
• Support special projects and ad-hoc requests from senior leaders and investors
