Qualifications

• Maintain and review the books and records for multiple private equity investment funds.
• Prepare and review journal entries and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers.
• Manage capital calls and distributions, including preparing and distributing investor notices.
• Deliver investor communications through an online investor portal.
• Own end-to-end accounting processes for assigned funds.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and documentation for external auditors.
• Compile and analyze financial and operational data for senior management.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.

Our client, a private equity firm based in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their growing fund accounting team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys owning the full lifecycle of investment fund operations, working closely with investors, and partnering with senior management.

Key Responsibilities
