Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for its regulatory reporting group to serve hedge fund clients. Based in Philadelphia, the role is fully remote within the United States.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hedge fund client experience from fund administration, audit or tax, and a solid grasp of cash and derivative instruments. You will prepare filings like Form PF, CPO-PQR, and AIFMD reporting and support system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Inform clients of regulatory changes and handle service requests.
• Support integration of third‑party system provider in regulatory reporting.
• Own scheduling, testing and deployment of software changes.
• Work with operations and technology to fold new workflows into the firm's strategy.
• Contribute to management reporting, presentations and special projects.

Our client, a hedge fund administrator, is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate for its regulatory reporting group. The role fits professionals with 2–4 years of hedge fund client experience from fund administration, audit or tax who know how cash and derivative instruments work.

Location

Based in Philadelphia, PA (FULLY REMOTE ROLE)

Compensation

$75,000 to $85,000

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review regulatory filings for hedge fund clients, including Form PF (SEC), CPO-PQR (CFTC), AIFMD reporting (EU) and OPERA, so each one is accurate, complete and filed on time
• Partner with fund accounting, investor services and middle office teams across operations
• Research new and changing regulatory requirements and brief internal client service teams on how they affect clients
• Keep clients informed of regulatory changes and new service offerings, and handle client requests for service changes or enhancements
• Support implementation of the firm's regulatory reporting service, including integration with a third‑party system provider
• Own the scheduling, testing and deployment of software changes tied to the regulatory reporting service
• Work with operations and technology teams to fold new workflows into the firm's broader technology strategy
• Contribute to management reporting, presentations, issue resolution and special projects

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience serving hedge fund clients, either in fund administration (hedge fund accounting) or in public accounting (audit or tax)
• Understanding of financial theory and operations across cash and derivative instruments
• Strong Excel skills for managing data, building efficiencies and maintaining controls
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication

Preferred

• Hedge fund accounting experience at a fund administrator
• Alternative investments audit experience at a national accounting firm
• Experience with system testing and documenting processes (e.g., flowcharts)

The Environment

Our client is a fund administrator serving hedge fund and alternative investment managers. This role is remote. Candidates should be based in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York City or Connecticut areas and be able to travel to the firm's New York City office when needed.
