Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Senior Engineer – Program Functional Safety Manager in Auburn Hills, MI to lead convergence of a centralized E/E architecture with cross-functional teams. You will ensure timely delivery of the Functional Safety release and alignment with Stellantis' 14-brand strategy, driving a world-class safe and secure by design platform.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware teams, managing safety policy application, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years overall experience.
• 2+ years project management experience in Functional Safety.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety standards: ISO26262, ISO21448.
• Understanding of vehicle EE architectures and automotive development processes.

Responsibilities

• Steer functional safety convergence across all platform products.
• Synchronize with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware Engineering teams.
• Synchronize with vehicle project teams.
• Collect feature requests, coordinate analysis and assess feasibility.
• Support convergence and application of product policy per standards and Stellantis policies.
• Drive early life cycle delivery via Agile methods.
• Establish collaboration opportunities with internal partners.
• Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
