Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to own ISO 26262 activities for high‑voltage lithium‑ion battery systems. You will lead safety work products across the development lifecycle and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and customers to ensure safety requirements are defined, implemented, verified and maintained.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety.
Experience with ISO 26262 safety activities across the development lifecycle.
Experience in creating Design documents, BOMs, test plans, component selection and cost optimization (VAVE).
Experience with hardware design, testing and development from concept to end product.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical owner for Functional Safety work products.
Lead technical execution of ISO 26262 activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and maintain safety deliverables and evidence for compliant product development.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to define, implement, verify, and maintain Functional Safety requirements.
