Senior Functional Consultant - JD Edwards

Summary

Consult clients on business goals related to ERP and other systems, primarily focusing on implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World software. Responsibilities include needs assessment, installation, setup, implementation, training, and consultation. Extensive travel to client sites is required.

Job Duties

• Serve as a liaison between end-users and consultants during projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into software solutions. Define specifications and data models for development and testing. Create detailed test cases and analyze results.
• Assess solutions and recommend options to the consulting team.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Configure JD Edwards software to meet client needs.
• Create test scripts and training materials tailored to clients.
• Provide client training and prepare relevant documentation.
• Keep project teams informed of individual deliverables.
• Travel to client sites to collaborate and understand their operations. Travel will predominantly be by air, with some driving possible.
• Assist sales team with solution creation and implementation estimates; may serve as SME during sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
