Senior Functional Business Consultant - REMOTE

Job Overview: The Functional Business Consultant acts as a subject matter expert in business systems or processes, supporting internal and client projects, regulatory compliance, process improvements, and system support. Responsibilities include research, documentation, client interaction, training, testing, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in business requirements, system specifications, and process flows, supporting Medicaid compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the team.
• Advise management on laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare and compliance.
• Assist internal clients with Medicaid regulatory requirements.
• Research and resolve complex business and technical issues.
• Ensure client and member satisfaction through prompt resolution of inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or process improvement.
• 3 years of functional experience in areas such as compliance, claims, eligibility, or benefits.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong client service skills and experience in implementation.
• Ability to learn new processes and software independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years in legal or compliance roles within healthcare or regulated industries.

Salary range: $81,000 - $138,000, based on experience.
