Job summary

JANSON is hiring a senior/principal Functional Analyst/Developer/Engineer to lead analytics delivery and Army Vantage enablement. The role combines analytics development, instructional design, and technical mentorship across cross‑functional teams in a fully remote setup.

You will guide dashboards, data pipelines, and pedagogical content while ensuring security, classification workflows, and governance. The position requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, OR related field.
• 7–10 years of analytics, data engineering, software development, or OR.
• 2+ years delivering analytics or data products on an enterprise platform.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience building dashboards and data pipelines for decision support.
• Experience teaching or leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of prototype-level analytics and dashboards.
• Instruct and mentor staff across advanced analytics training.
• Develop reusable analytics patterns and standards.
• Ensure training content is actionable and domain-specific to Army Vantage.
• Oversee creation of teaching exemplars in dashboards and workflows.
• Integrate data lineage and version control into demonstrations.
• Lead AARs for training events and apply lessons to future work.
