Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and modernize applications for clients in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You will work across frontend and backend tech stacks, delivering scalable software and integrations with client systems.

Role requires strong experience with React/Next.js/Angular/Vue.js, Node.js, Azure, and CI/CD tooling, plus effective communication with clients and teammates. On-site in the San Jose area with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate secure, well-documented APIs with client systems and third-party services.
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications on Microsoft Azure and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with PMs, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate effectively with others.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping our client design, build, and modernize the applications and technology solutions their business relies on. You'll work on developing and deploying modern web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software that meets client needs.

Qualifications

Expectations - the experience you need

• Strong proficiency with front-end frameworks like React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong proficiency with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Service, Functions, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience
• Working knowledge of API design, authentication/authorization, and web application security.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface directly with clients as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
