Job summary

Appnovation is hiring a Senior Developer, Fullstack (AI & Data Platform) to join a skilled team building agent-enabled applications and backend automation that turn catalogue and metadata into governed software.

You will design services, tooling, and user interfaces that make data discoverable and trustworthy across the platform, collaborating with data engineering and governance partners to shape architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
6+ years of software engineering with strong fullstack focus.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Understanding data engineering principles and turning catalogue output into working software.
Strong Python engineering skills including API and service design (FastAPI) and schema validation.
Experience with React/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling.
Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.
Cloud computing exposure, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop backend automation that integrates multiple metadata sources and produces governed artifacts.
Design and build agent-enabled applications and workflows, including MCP servers and tools.
Create user-facing interfaces for platform and discovery workflows.
Deliver production-grade services with solid API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
