Job summary

HeadHR is seeking an experienced software engineer to own product areas end-to-end across mobile, web, backend, architecture, and delivery quality. You will build mobile-first experiences using React Native, Expo, TypeScript, NestJS, and Tailwind while integrating with Rails, Go, and Node backends.

You will collaborate across teams to ship high-quality features rapidly and help shape the roadmap. The role requires hands-on React Native expertise, AI tooling experience, and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in large, well-maintained codebases.
• Recent hands-on React Native and TypeScript experience in last 2–3 years.
• Strong Node.js experience.
• Experience with Expo.
• Experience using AI tools (LLMs, recommendations, or generative video).
• Mobile release experience (App Store / Google Play).
• Strong problem-solving and software design skills.
• Ability to design solutions independently and evaluate trade-offs.
• Comfort discussing system design, scalability, performance, infra, and integrations.
• Ownership, autonomy, data-driven, action-oriented mindset.
• English level (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

Responsibilities

• Own product areas end-to-end across mobile, web, backend, architecture, and delivery quality.
• Build mobile-first experiences with React Native / Expo, TypeScript, NestJS, and Tailwind.
• Integrate with polyglot backends (Rails, Go, Node.js).

• Design scalable, high-performance solutions focused on usability and product experience.
• Contribute to system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical decisions.
