Job summary

Dave is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help scale our financial platform used by millions of Americans. You will design and build backend services in TypeScript, collaborate with PM and design, and help guide the technical direction while mentoring teammates.

We value problem solving, customer focus, and a collaborative mindset. This virtual-first role allows work from anywhere in the United States (excluding Hawaii) with flexible hours and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience building full-stack applications.
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, and one or more general-purpose languages.
• Experience with a modern UI framework to build user-focused interfaces.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend code for features used by millions of users.
• Backend development in TypeScript.
• Participate in code reviews and team activities.
• Provide technical leadership and guide architectural direction.
• Mentor and pair with engineers regularly.
• Collaborate with PM and design to define feature specs using React.js/React Native.
