Job summary

Commure in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to scale our Ambient AI platform and agent stack for healthcare. You will work closely with clinicians and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade features with speed and quality.

You will lead design, development, deployment, and iterative improvements of complex capabilities, leveraging LLMs, RAG tooling, and modern DevOps practices to keep the product secure and scalable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Experience shipping enterprise-grade software.
• Experience leading complex projects end-to-end across multiple release cycles.
• Experience with LLM applications and RAG tooling (Gemini, GPT, VectorDB, etc.).
• Collaborate with Product Management to clarify requirements, scope work, and drive product delivery.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, release management).
• Security tooling in SDLC and Security by Design practices (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to tackle technical challenges in building scalable software and delivering quality features.
• Lead design, development, deployment, and iterations of complex features with cross-functional teams.
• Enhance and evolve Commure’s product architecture.
• Collaborate with customers to understand pain points and prioritize maintainable solutions.
• Promote best practices, code quality, and maintainability; mentor other engineers.
