Job summary

Optiveum is recruiting a Senior Fullstack Developer (Java, Angular, Kafka) to join a global banking client. You will work as part of the Cards Service Domain building, maintaining and securing internet-facing Commercial Cards applications, with emphasis on availability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack Java development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs skills.
• Proficient in Angular and Angular Material.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Experience addressing SAST, container scans and other security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java/Spring Boot/Angular/Kafka apps.
• Build and maintain microservices-based solutions.
• Create and consume REST APIs and integrations.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Support CI/CD workflows with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and Ops; participate in Agile/Scrum.
• Create technical docs and operation guidelines.
• Explore AI tools and support adoption in the Cards domain.
