Optiveum is recruiting a Senior Fullstack Developer (Java, Angular, Kafka) to join a global banking client. You will work as part of the Cards Service Domain building, maintaining and securing internet-facing Commercial Cards applications, with emphasis on availability, performance, and security.

• 5+ years of full-stack Java development experience.

• Experience addressing SAST, container scans and other security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Senior Fullstack Developer (Java, Angular, Kafka)

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join the team of our global client from the banking sector. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

You will work as a Full Stack Java Developer within the Cards Service Domain, developing, maintaining and continuously improving internet-facing Commercial Cards applications, with a strong focus on availability, performance and security. The client is looking for long-term cooperation.

Key Details:

• Rate: up to 140 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)

• Work Model: Hybrid – min. 60% office presence

• Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker and Kubernetes.

• Developing and enhancing microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.

• Building and maintaining REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.

• Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities found through SAST, container and dependency scanning, penetration testing and other assessments.

• Driving secure coding practices and improving the security posture of internet-facing applications.

• Analysing, troubleshooting and resolving defects, incidents and production issues.

• Supporting CI/CD processes with Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins.

• Optimising application performance, scalability, resilience and maintainability.

• Collaborating with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists and Operations teams, and taking part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs and operational guidelines.

• Using AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and contributing to the adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation in the Cards domain.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development, including testing your own changes.

• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs.

• Angular and Angular Material.

• Kafka and SQL databases.

• Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and CI/CD.

• Experience resolving SAST, container scan and other security vulnerabilities.

• Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.

• Agile/Scrum way of working.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of AI tools, or willingness to explore them.

• Fluent English.
