Job summary

cerebre is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong React and TypeScript experience to help us build and evolve a large, complex web application used by enterprise customers in the industrial world.

This is application development rather than simple website work. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, product, and design, and navigate a mature product with interconnected modules in a fully remote team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building and maintaining large, complex web applications.
• Experience building complex application interfaces with state, logic, and asynchronous behavior.
• Experience with large, existing codebases and impact across product areas.
• Experience integrating frontend with backend services and structured data.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently when requirements are not fully defined.
• Ability to ask questions and gather missing information to advance work.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve complex functionality in a large React and TypeScript application.
• Develop highly interactive interfaces with complex user interactions, state, logic, and dependencies.
• Consider broader product impact and cross-module interactions.
• Build new functionality while maintaining existing features used by customers.
• Work with structured data, asynchronous processes, backend services, and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend/backend engineers on technical solutions.
• Work with Product to understand problems and shape solutions beyond predefined tasks.
• Investigate problems and propose solutions when requirements are incomplete.
