Job summary

Envoy is seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer to own meaningful product areas end-to-end in our San Francisco HQ. You will work across the stack, building scalable frontend UI with React and backend services, APIs, and data models that support millions of interactions.

You will partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions. A BS/MS in CS and 7+ years of production software experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of production software experience with fullstack contributions.
• Strong frontend fundamentals: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Backend experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL, TypeScript/Java/ Kotlin/Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing relational schemas and using Postgres.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Product mindset focused on usability, performance and impact.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Ability to work in ambiguous spaces and own outcomes.
• Experience with identity/auth systems (SCIM, SSO, OAuth, SAML).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality scalable features across the full stack: frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Design and evolve backend systems, APIs, and data models used by web and mobile clients.
• Create performant, accessible frontend experiences using React and modern web technologies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, shared components, and engineering standards.
• Design relational data models (Postgres) and improve system performance and observability.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering quality.
• Own features end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Build intuitive admin experiences for managing users, access, and authentication.
