Job summary

Calendly, a leader in AI-native scheduling, seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own frontend and backend work on the AI Scheduling team. You’ll build polished React/TypeScript experiences and design APIs, services, and data flows with ML engineers to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

You will tackle high-ownership, 0-to-1 product work in a fast-moving environment, turning ambiguous problems into pragmatic solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience at a SaaS or technology company with a track record of delivering customer-facing products.
• Proven success in a 0-to-1 product environment with evolving requirements and fast iteration.
• Significant frontend experience with React and TypeScript, including state management, routing, forms, and design systems.
• Strong backend expertise designing REST or GraphQL APIs in Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks; relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading complex projects from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Experience building customer-facing AI or LLM-powered products is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and work in the United States.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States; no immigration sponsorship expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the team to build features for high-impact enterprise customers.
• Contribute to platform scaling initiatives and reliability improvements.
• Align with Product and Design to fine-tune requirements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and help plan work.
• Improve engineering practices across squads and review pull requests.
• Mentor and coach other team members.
