Job summary

Avenue Code is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and operate enterprise-scale web apps in the utilities and energy sector. You will build cloud-native solutions with React.js and Node.js, create RESTful and GraphQL services, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have strong JavaScript skills, experience with AWS Lambda/ECS, and solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases.

Qualifications

• Weeks hands-on experience developing full stack web applications with React.js and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, ECS, and cloud-native application development.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases (preferably Couchbase), and graph database concepts.

• Knowledge of Jest, React Testing Library, and automated testing practices.


• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or prompt engineering.


• Experience mentoring engineers and working in Agile environments.
