Job summary

Leverage AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the core platform that automates PO workflows for industrial manufacturers. You will own the design of distributed systems, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions that withstand millions of daily transactions.

In a fast-growing startup, you’ll collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver robust Node.js, Typescript, React, and PostgreSQL solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in high-growth startup environments.
• Strong track record of building scalable systems using Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS services.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings while contributing to both strategy and execution.
• Experience in leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and making impactful architectural decisions.
• Excitement about tackling legacy challenges and modernizing systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Design: Lead the architecture and design of distributed systems to ensure scalability, performance, and high availability.
• Develop & Build: Write, test, and maintain robust code in Node.js, Typescript, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Infrastructure Expertise: Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, MSK/Kafka).
• Collaborate: Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define and deliver on the roadmap.
• Teach & Learn: share your technical experience with others on the team, and learn new ways of approaching technical problems.
• Problem-Solve: Lead investigations into performance issues, bottlenecks, and scalability challenges in a data-intensive environment.
• Adapt: Operate effectively in a fast-moving, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and challenges.
