CyberCoders is hiring a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering Squads, building cloud-based SaaS for SMBs. You will own features end-to-end across Java/Spring Boot microservices, React frontends, and a TypeScript/Node BFF layer, shaping architecture and delivering real value to customers.

This role emphasizes ownership, fast iteration, and collaboration in small, high-velocity teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering (backend or frontend leaning OK!)
• Strong expertise in Java
• Solid TypeScript experience, React preferred
• Cloud-native experience on AWS, Docker, ECS/EKS
• Strong relational database fundamentals (Postgres, schema design, indexing, ORM)
• Experience owning services in production (CI/CD, observability, debugging)
• Ability to work effectively with AI coding tools and review outputs critically
• Ability to lead by influence and raise engineering standards

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering Squads: small, cross‑functional teams that take a product area from early concept through production. Squads work directly with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to shape what gets built, own the technical design, write and test the code, and put it in front of customers.

You will work across Java/Spring Boot microservices, React frontends, and a TypeScript/Node BFF layer - contributing to our inventory platform, our new cloud manufacturing product, and the intelligent agent‑based capabilities being built alongside them.

This is not a traditional engineering role. You will not be handed requirements or siloed into a narrow layer of the stack. You will define problems, design systems, write code, test thoroughly, deploy confidently, and own how your work behaves in production.

What You Will Do

Build Full‑Stack Features Across the Platform

• Design and implement Java/Spring Boot microservices powering core workflows and intelligent agent‑based capabilities.
• Build and evolve React interfaces within a modular, micro‑frontend architecture.
• Contribute to a TypeScript/Node BFF layer that aggregates and contextualizes data from multiple services.

Shape Problems Before You Solve Them

• Work directly with product stakeholders and manufacturing experts to define what a feature needs to do.
• Ask the questions that surface edge cases, constraints, and unstated requirements.

Own Architecture and System Design

• Lead technical design for your squad's work, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and clean service boundaries.
• Influence platform architecture as the product scales.

Ship with Quality and Confidence

• Own test coverage, QA collaboration, and production behavior.
• Contribute to cloud deployments (AWS ECS/EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.

Raise the Bar with AI‑Assisted Development

• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while applying strong judgment, review discipline, and architectural thinking.
• Identify where event‑driven patterns, rule engines, or AI capabilities add clear value.

What You Bring

Required

• 5+ years of Software Engineering (backend or frontend leaning experience OK!)
• Strong expertise in Java
• Solid TypeScript experience, React preferred (but we're flexible!)
• Cloud‑native experience on AWS, Docker, ECS/EKS
• Strong relational database fundamentals (Postgres, schema design, indexing, ORM)
• Experience owning services in production (CI/CD, observability, debugging)
• Ability to work effectively with AI coding tools and review outputs critically
• Ability to lead by influence and raise engineering standards

Preferred

• Node.js
• Experience with micro‑frontends
• Distributed systems experience (queues, event streams, async workflows)
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities (LLM APIs, agent frameworks, MCP)
• Domain experience in warehouse management, ERP, inventory control, or manufacturing systems
• Experience working in small teams without heavy PM/project management support
