Job summary

PDS Health in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Full-stack Software Developer to lead and/or consult on external facing websites. You will guide team members to deliver software, implement services and frameworks, and maintain applications on the enterprise content management system.

You will collaborate with frontend developers to design high-quality features, write tests, and optimize for performance, security, and accessibility. AEM experience is a plus and the role emphasizes robust coding practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software design and development experience.
• Experience building enterprise web apps with micro front-end architecture.
• Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, ES6, and related tools.
• Experience with front-end libraries like jQuery and React.
• Familiar with using AI to augment development.
• Experience writing Playwright or Cypress tests for frontend.
• Strong SEO, WCAG, and performance optimization knowledge.
• Experience applying software engineering best practices.
• Experience with 3rd party SDKs like Google Maps.
• Working with JSON/XML/REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in the code and the team’s software development processes. Help to continuously improve both software and processes.
• Evaluate multiple approaches to technical problems and be able to recommend one solution after considering limitations and challenges.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to design and develop high-quality functionalities for the websites.
• Ensure that code is efficient, scalable, maintainable, extensible, robust and easy to understand. Diagnose and fix code problems.
• Deliver code that meets requirements on schedule. Optimize code to improve tool run time and memory capacity.
• Perform peer-to-peer code review of the entire application stack
• Create unit, regression and/or system-level tests to thoroughly validate new features or changes.
• Communicate solution and design through documentation including diagrams.
