Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Application Developer, Business Systems to design and deliver complex full-stack business applications across web and Salesforce platforms. You will architect end-to-end solutions, set technical direction, and mentor developers while addressing critical regulatory and security considerations.

You will work with cross-functional teams in person in Irvine, CA to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise systems, including CSV, 21 CFR Part 11,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• A minimum of 5 years hands-on full-stack development including Salesforce.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular) and backend services.
• Experience mentoring developers and setting technical direction while remaining hands-on.
• Familiarity with CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex, full-stack solutions across web applications (React or Angular front ends, backend services, APIs) and the Salesforce platform.
• Architect integrations and data flows across enterprise systems to ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
• Set technical patterns, standards, and best practices for the team; own key technical decisions.
• Personally build and validate the hardest components and prove out new approaches and tooling.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, pairing, and design guidance.
• Partner with analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into working technical solutions.
• Own quality, security, and validation across deliverables (CSV, 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP as applicable).
