RAIS USA in Boston is seeking an experienced Full Stack Development Lead to join our Asset Management – Investment Technology team. This senior, hands-on role combines engineering craft with leadership to shape technology direction while remaining active in code and architecture.

You will modernize investment platforms, build scalable cloud-native solutions, and drive API, UI, and data enablement across global stakeholders.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior lead / hands-on leadership role.
Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services (Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Strong API development and integration experience.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Selenium).
Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional delivery in a matrixed, global environment.
Demonstrated ability to remain hands-on in code and architecture while operating at a senior leadership level.

Define and drive the technology strategy aligned with Investments business goals; identify opportunities for cloud-native architectures, data enablement, and full-stack engineering solutions.
Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive transformation in investment technology with structured execution.
Lead and contribute to full stack application development using modern technologies across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
Design and implement scalable, secure APIs with monitoring and logging frameworks.
Lead development of rich UI components using React or Angular.
Manage AWS-based infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines (CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS).
Identify automation opportunities to improve team efficiency and delivery velocity.
Own production environment and application operations; review and approve changes before production deployment.
Collaborate with business and product teams to shape requirements and translate into technical specs and delivery plans.
Translate complex investment domain problems into actionable engineering solutions with high impact.
Interface with strategic vendors (e.g., BlackRock Aladdin, Snowflake) for issue resolution and system integration.
Engage global stakeholders across Investments, Operations, Risk, and Technology.
Provide direction, mentorship, and technical leadership to distributed teams across geographies and time zones.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, engineering excellence, and ownership.
