Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in software engineering; internship not counted.
• 1+ year cloud computing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
• Master’s degree preferred
• 9+ years experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go preferred
• 4+ years AWS/GCP/Azure or other cloud service experience preferred
• 4+ years experience with open source frameworks preferred
• 1+ years people management preferred
• 2+ years experience in Agile practices preferred
• Capital One sponsorship available for qualified applicants

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and guide a team of developers.
• Mentor engineering talent and participate in internal/external tech communities.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions at scale.
• Code or review code as needed and evaluate technical solutions.
• Stay current with technology trends and experiment with new technologies.
• Develop solutions that support regulatory needs for the company.
• Deliver robust cloud-based systems used by millions of Americans.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS tools to implement full stack solutions.
