Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Senior IT Technical Lead to direct technology strategy across platforms, delivering user-centric full-stack solutions and scalable backend integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in software development with at least 5 years in a technical lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science/IT.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, and full‑stack development across multiple platforms.
• Experience with cloud‑based architectures and technologies listed (Node.js, TypeScript, ECS, Kubernetes, Kore.AI, Android, iOS).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C, or JavaScript with related frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for complex software, middleware, and cloud initiatives across platforms.
• Lead architecture, design, development, integration, deployment, and production support across SDLC.
• Evaluate options, approve architectural decisions, ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Resolve complex issues through root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define solution strategies and communicate technical recommendations.
• Promote engineering best practices and mentoring across the team.
• Create and maintain architecture docs, specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, testing, observability, and tooling.
• Design and review reusable full-stack solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native tech.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams to deliver scalable user experiences.
