Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Technical Lead to architect and oversee scalable web apps and distributed systems. You will guide engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, and ensure best practices across the SDLC. AI-driven solutions experience is a plus.

You will work across backend Python/Java services, REST/GraphQL APIs, ReactJS frontends, and AWS cloud infrastructure, with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7-10 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI preferred) or Java; ReactJS and TypeScript; REST and GraphQL; async processing (Celery or similar)
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD; monitoring and observability
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems; SQL and NoSQL databases
• Nice to Have: AI-driven applications; event-driven systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS); Infrastructure as Code; performance tuning

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of full‑stack applications; mentor developers; define coding standards; drive end-to-end delivery
• Build services with Python/FastAPI or Java; design scalable RESTful/GraphQL APIs; build async pipelines and microservices
• Develop frontend with ReactJS and TypeScript; create reusable components; ensure performance and accessibility
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS; implement CI/CD; enable logging, monitoring, tracing; leverage Docker and Kubernetes
• Drive architecture discussions on scalability, distributed systems, caching, and security
• Lead AI-powered features using LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, and RAG pipelines
