Job summary

Sagent seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Dara product team, a cloud-native mortgage servicing platform built to transform the U.S. mortgage industry.

You will work with a global team using Java, React, Node.js, and Kafka on Azure and Google Cloud. You will participate in agile development, own delivery metrics, and collaborate with SMEs, frontend developers, and business units to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mortgage/fintech domains is a plus.
• Cloud-native/SaaS architectures experience.
• Building large-scale distributed event-driven applications.
• RESTful and streaming APIs design experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile software development across design, implementation, and deployment.
• Develop API-first systems with frontend and SME collaboration.
• Work with Java, React, Node.js, and Kafka to build scalable services.
• Ensure performance, uptime, and high-quality code and design.
