Job summary

Digitailor is hiring a software engineer to help build an AI-powered platform for engineers designing physical systems. You will own features end to end, from ideas through production, with opportunities to grow into backend-focused full-stack work.

Collaborate with a frontend engineer to enhance the product interface, own architecture and deployment, and contribute to backend infrastructure as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of software engineering experience in full stack web development.
• Hands-on backend and frontend skills with React and TypeScript.
• .NET experience and AI-assisted development mindset.
• Track record of taking products from concept to production in startups.
• Based in the US or Canada and eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

About The Role

Join an AI team building software that helps engineers design physical systems. You will help improve the product experience and take ownership of features from early ideas through production, with room to grow into backend-focused full stack work.

What You'Ll Do

Work with a frontend engineer to improve the product interface and accelerate delivery to production. Build and own features end to end, including architecture, deployment, and reliability. Contribute to backend features, infrastructure, and systems as the product evolves. Establish effective practices for developing software with AI coding agents. Collaborate with field engineering, AI research, and product teams to prototype and refine ideas for industrial users.

What We'Re Looking For

Three to ten years of software engineering experience, with hands-on full stack web product development. Strong backend skills and solid frontend capabilities, including experience with React and TypeScript. Experience with .NET and a practical, ambitious approach to AI-assisted development. A record of building products or major features from concept through production in a startup environment. Experience owning architecture, deployment, and reliability, and adapting to changing priorities. Interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation. Experience outside purely computer vision, robotics, or self-driving domains is important. Based in the United States or Canada and authorized to work there without visa sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits Base salary is $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote, with the primary location in Canada.

The Role

requires one week onsite in San Mateo, California, every six weeks.
