About The Role

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Payments, to enhance our payments infrastructure. You'll design and develop scalable, reliable subscription and payment systems, focusing on managing the full subscription lifecycle, automating billing, and ensuring consistent payment data across our systems.

This role is ideal for a senior backend engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, payment platforms like Stripe, and collaboration across teams for impactful business outcomes.

• This is a full-time remote position
• Must be located in the U.S. with U.S. work authorization
• Salary range: $167,000 - $197,000/year + bonus and benefits

About You

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, GraphQL or similar
• Hands-on experience with payment systems, especially Stripe
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems
• Knowledge of data warehouse, analytics, CRM tools
• Strong understanding of security best practices
• Problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive, results-driven, and mission-oriented
